We employed Active Tunnelling Ltd to undertake the above works on this contract. The work undertaken involved the provision of eight full crossings and four half crossings between Junction 29 and 30. We found this Contractor to be Professional being both Proactive in responding to changes in the scope of the works and swift in agreeing commercial matters.

Active Tunnelling have recently completed four tunnels at RAF Lakenheath for Fitzpatrick. The work involved constructing a 110m long 1200 dia tunnel under the main runway in 4 days and three other tunnels between 60m and 80m long under five taxiways with minimal cover, whilst working in very sensitive environment on an operational fighter base. Active Tunnelling performed there works safely, to programme and provided a quality finished product. I found working with Active Tunnelling a pleasure and would have no hesitation in employing their company again.
